In the Account section, you will now find a new Feature Protection item that allows you to easily lock certain functionality in your GP account using the PIN code. You can make the settings either for an individual terminal or for all terminals under your site.
You can easily turn feature protection off/on directly in the app.
You can currently lock up to 6 functions in your GP volume. If you also check "Set for all devices", this will apply the settings to all terminals under your location.
In the next step, click on "New 4-digit passcode" and enter PIN, which you will need to authenticate with to use the locked feature. Then just click on "SAVE AND AUTHORIZE". We recommend that you do not share PIN with unauthorized persons.
Here we will automatically send you an authorization code to your email, which you need to use to authenticate yourself in the application. Once you have entered the correct code, click "GO".
Once you have set up PIN for a feature and the user wants to use it in the application, they will need to authenticate with the PIN code. After setting up feature protection, we will also send a QR code to your login email that you can use to authenticate yourself instead of the PIN code.
Change PIN code
If you need to change the PIN code to lock features, this can be done directly in the application. Simply find Function Protection again, enter the new 4-digit code here and click on "SAVE AND AUTHORIZE". You will then need to authenticate with the authorization code you will receive by email to set up your new PIN.
