USE OF THE OTAS HANDHELD DEVICE
The OTAS handheld is a mobile-phone-sized input device with a SIM card slot and a built-in scanner. It allows you to:
- Manage your stock control (stock-taking, orders, labels)
- Make payments at the petrol pump and
- use the terminal as an emergency cash box

This handy device allows you to simplify your stock management. You can use it to
- Carry out a stock-take in the shop
- Place orders by scanning the products
- Define labels using a scanner
- Record goods receipts

CAR WASH
- Your staff member sells a item of laundry to a customer, either outdoors or, of course, indoors.
- The customer receives a car wash voucher and can redeem it at the car wash.
- Some customers use the handheld device in the car wash. The device is IP65-rated and can withstand splashes of water.

- Your employee can see the refuelling operations currently taking place on the OTAS handheld device.
- If a customer wishes to pay, the transaction can be completed at the petrol pump. Your staff member can accept payment either in cash or by card.
- If your customer also needs another product (charcoal, windscreen cleaner, oil), the item can be scanned using the built-in scanner.
- The customer can also buy some laundry in the same transaction.

- However, you can also scan the items you have bought and sell them.
- If your OTAS till is out of order, you can use the handheld device to process fuel purchases and print the receipts on the till printer.
- This ensures your fuel sales and guarantees uninterrupted operations.
