About the company

The company’s origins date back to 1991, when Mr Pavel Jeřábek founded the freight forwarding and warehousing firm Pavel Jeřábek – EXPEDIS. In the early stages of its business operations, EXPEDIS succeeded in attracting and securing customers from among small businesses, providing them with comprehensive logistics services – namely, warehouse space, managing warehouse operations and arranging transport in accordance with their requirements. Subsequently, this comprehensive service was utilised by transport companies specialising in groupage and piece goods, as well as companies involved in the international transport of goods (exports and imports). Building on this resulting customer base, Expedis gradually modernised its facilities and expanded its service portfolio to include customs clearance, customs declaration services and other services required to meet emerging legislative requirements – such as the preparation of Intrastat returns, EcoCom reporting, and the provision of security to cover customs debts.
